The In-Line Filter from Polylok is a robust, service-friendly In-Line Pressure Filter engineered to protect pump systems and downstream pipework from solids and debris. Designed for septic and effluent pump applications, this high-capacity in-line filter ensures reliable system performance while reducing maintenance issues caused by clogging or premature wear.
Available with either a stainless steel mesh screen (PL-PF) or a plastic slotted screen (PL-PFP), the Polylok In-Line Filter delivers flexible filtration solutions tailored to your system requirements. Built to handle demanding wastewater environments, it installs directly onto the discharge port (typically 2”) of most effluent pumps using glue or compression fittings, with adaptors available for smaller discharge ports.
With a maximum flow rate of 300 L/min at 40 PSI, this In-Line Filter is ideal for residential and light commercial septic systems. Its compact vertical design allows for easy servicing, while the ¼-turn cap enables quick screen access for cleaning and inspection.

Always install the In-Line Filter in an accessible position for servicing.
Keep the union assembled during gluing to protect the O-ring and sealing surfaces.
Increase total dynamic head by 0.5 feet to compensate for friction loss through the filter.
Inspect within the first 6 months to establish proper service intervals.
Service the filter during septic tank and pump chamber pumping.
Replace filter socks after use; inspect screens for damage.
In cold climates, warm the cap before removal if necessary.
Always comply with local Health Department codes and septic servicing regulations.
